Mr. Robin Stover

Robin Stover is the founding member of the Prison Consulting Group (PCG). Robin graduated with honors with a degree in Sociology from the University of South Florida. Robin presents a very multidimensional and distinctive point of view to the clients of the Prison Consulting Group. As a successful entrepreneur who started and fostered several successful businesses in Florida including home medical equipment, advertising, vending, and printing, Robin certainly knows the organizational and structuring side of running a successful business. As a Sociologist, Robin is observant, compassionate, self-motivated, and sensitive to his clients. He is an expert in research and has an expansive knowledge of the Bureau of Prisons' programs, policies, and procedures. His unique knowledge and insight into the Bureau of Prisons' programs is especially significant when evaluating and positioning clients for the 500-Hour Residential Drug Abuse Program, RDAP. Since the demise of the ICC Program, there is currently only one option available to shorten a federal prison sentence. This option is participation in the 500-Hour Residential Drug Abuse Program. This program is a very competitive and highly sought after program in the federal prison system. The reason is simple. Graduates of the RDAP program are eligible for up to a twelve (12) month federal prison sentence reduction and up to a six (6) month community custody (halfway house) designation depending upon the length of the defendents initial sentence. Robin's educational background in Sociology coupled with his work experience prove invaluable in preparing and positioning his clients for acceptance into many of the Bureau of Prisons programs.
"Robin presents a very multidimensional and distinctive point of view to the clients of the Prison Consulting Group."

Robin was sentenced in 2003 to 37 months in a Federal Prison Camp for medicare fraud. During this time he worked with Bureau of Prisons' staff and inmates alike to tutor and aid with instructional goals, including participants in both the 500-Hour Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP) and General Educational Development (GED) course. Robin likes to say this was a life and career changing experience. This invaluable training and his actual experiences in federal prison makes Robin uniquely qualified in his current position as a Federal Prison Consultant. Robin provides real time answers to those individuals and their families facing federal incarceration.

After being released from federal prison, Robin spent three months in a halfway house and thirty-six months on supervised release. This time also afforded Robin valuable knowledge of both the house arrest (home confinement) aspect of post-incarceration as well as the halfway house programs, policies, and procedures. In addition, he knows all the do's and don'ts when on a period of supervised release. This included dealing with the many types of probation officers and federal judges post incarceration defendants will face.
