The Pre-Sentence Interview Document Preparation process is a critical step in the eventual determination of the client’s federal prison sentence by the Federal District Court Judge. It is important that it be done correctly, completely, and accurately. Our preparation and documentation prepares the foundation for any subsequent challenges to the content of the Pre-Sentencing Investigation Report by the client and his defense team.
"Our document preparation is especially important as it provides the client with a knowledge of what will be asked and the documents that will be required of him."
Armed with this information, the defendant may participate in the PSI interview with his attorney and/or a member of the PCG staff. A member of the PCG staff, if requested, will participate in this very important interview. We highly recommend that no defendant participates in this interview without legal representation or a PCG staff member being present. Remember, this interview and the resulting report is the single most dominant and definitive event in determining your federal prison sentence, federal prison designation, and the quality of life enhancements while you are in federal prison.
